- Country of origin
- Norway
- Synonyms
- Kobbejente
- Description
- Creature that is a seal in water, but sheds its seal skin to become a beautiful woman on land. If you hide the seal skin whilst the creature is on land, it is forced to stay on land until it finds the skin again. Marriages between humans and "kobbejenter" can often be very prosperous, but only so long as the skin stays hidden and safe!
